My name is Bonnie Evans, and I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Nursing in 1998. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve worked across several Canadian provinces as well as in Perth, Western Australia, with a primary focus on mental health. I have experience working in various settings and roles with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve witnessed firsthand the struggles of untreated ADHD and the incredible progress clients make with the right treatment plan. Regardless of their age, I treat every client with dignity and respect, helping them recognize and build on their strengths.

In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors with my dogs and partner (when it’s not raining!). I’ve also recently joined a choir where we sing only Taylor Swift songs—don’t hold that against me! I look forward to supporting you on your journey to wellness.

Audrey is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) registered with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Audrey holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing, and a Masters of Nursing degree as a NP. She has always held a passion regarding human psychology. At the same time, she knew she wanted to pursue a profession helping people. As a Registered Nurse (RN), she had the privilege caring for those being treated for leukemia, and receiving bone marrow transplants (BMT). It is here where Audrey realized that she valued the unique rapport between herself and her patients. Today, as an NP, Audrey continues to enjoy forming therapeutic rapport with her patients while overseeing their care as a primary care provider.

In the primary care sector, her focus has been predominantly on woman’s health, sexual health, and mental health. After witnessing the effects of the pandemic on her patients’ mental health, Audrey sought out additional training from CADDRA’s ADHD program to better understand and assist her patients. At the West Coast Adult ADHD clinic, Audrey sees and assesses all walks of life to help bring better clarity to their symptoms, and guide them forward to proper treatment. She otherwise values time outside work with her husband and dog, regularly goes to the gym, and eats what Vancouver has to offer.

Hello, it’s so nice to meet you!

I’m Eliisha, a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a special interest in the diagnosis and management of ADHD. Prior to my NP training, I spent seven years working as a critical care RN, where I developed a strong foundation in comprehensive assessments and critical thinking—skills that I’ve continued to utilize over the past five years as an NP in primary care and cardiac surgery.

My interest in ADHD care began when I struggled to find resources for diagnosis and management in my family practice. Recognizing this gap in care, I accessed additional ADHD training so I could better serve my patients, and during this time was also diagnosed with ADHD myself. This personal journey has fueled my commitment to empowering patients by educating them about their diagnosis and fostering a deeper understanding, as I believe it can be profoundly transformative.

On my days off, you can find me hiking with my husband, infant son, and our two Frenchtons (Gordon and Luna). I also enjoy snowboarding, painting, and creating a tiny bit of chaos in the kitchen while trying to perfect my homemade mac and cheese.

Hello, my name is Whitney Nelson and I am a Nurse Practitioner with a special interest in ADHD diagnosis and management. Shortly after completing my Masters of Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner program from Athabasca University in 2021, I received my own ADHD diagnosis. This liberating experience was the start of a profound journey in gaining insight, acceptance, and management strategies (particularly with procrastination, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and burnout). My own lived experience with ADHD also includes navigating the challenges of societal misconceptions and stereotypes; especially, as a woman diagnosed in adulthood. I value providing care that is not only thorough and comprehensive but is also person-centred and relational. As a member of CADDRA, I have completed several ADHD certification programs and I have also attended many ADHD educational seminars. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, surfing, spending time with my family (my husband, 2 young boys, and our Scottish Terrier, Buzz), and listening to life coach podcasts. I am so genuinely grateful for the opportunity to assist you with achieving diagnostic clarity and implementing a management plan so that you can work towards living the fulfilling life that you deserve.
